I often need to use music and sound effects for my video work – particularly for ecards and explainer videos. I create a lot of the music myself, but there are several websites that have been my go-to places if I’ve needed to buy ready-made content off the shelf. Sometimes their licencing terms demand a credit, but that’s perfectly fair. They make life much easier when an appropriate POP! BANG! or SPLAT! is required, or if I need a ditty and don’t have the time or particular skill to put it together.
